Michael Kempner, CEO and founder of MWWPR, the global PR firm, announced the acquisition of Search Interactions, a digital marketing agency, in one of the latest marcom (marketing and communication) deals. Financial information was not disclosed. Following the transaction, MWWPR will acquire Search Interaction’s vast roster of media and entertainment, publishing, retail and B2B clients. However, the acquired company will retain its own brand.
MWWPR is one of the top global independent integrated PR agencies, with 8 offices across the US and the UK. With revenues growing over the past thirty-two years, the company has developed expertise in digital marketing, commerce, entertainment, and media and is currently focused on data-driven digital service offerings. Search Interactions is a New Jersey-based digital marketing agency with focus on organic media growth and audience development. As a renowned provider of search engine optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) services, the company is expected to earn approximately $3 million of revenue in 2018.
Mr. Kempner believes successful post-deal integration will allow both companies to gain a more comprehensive approach to digital public relations and reputation management:
“MWWPR is all about providing the most creative, insightful and measurable integrated strategies for our clients. The merger of SI into our core service offerings will give our clients additional critical tools to influence their consumers at every point of the customer journey”.
The companies will actively collaborate to deliver the best solutions for their clients, as well as to integrate all practice areas and geographic locations.
