SORTIS Hospitality OOD acquired 100% of the shares of Sunny Dream EOOD, the owner of Hotel Paloma in Sunny Beach, the largest resort on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. The transaction was completed on 30 September 2026. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Hotel Paloma is a three-star seaside hotel with 45 rooms and 100 beds, located a short walk from the beach in the central part of Sunny Beach, Bulgaria’s largest seaside resort. The property was fully reconstructed between 2021 and 2023 and comprises a four-storey building with a total built-up area of approximately 1,700 sq. m, an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant. In recent seasons the hotel has been leased to and operated by a third-party operator.
With the acquisition of Hotel Paloma, SORTIS Hospitality takes a first step from advising hotel owners towards owning and operating its own hospitality assets. SORTIS Hospitality intends to take over the management of the hotel directly from the 2027 summer season and to reposition the property through a programme of operational improvements, direct-distribution and revenue-management initiatives and targeted upgrades to the guest experience.
In connection with the transaction, Sunny Dream EOOD is being renamed Hotel Paloma EOOD and Mr. Martin Paev, CFA, has been appointed Manager of the company.
